CBCT: 3D SCAN

CBCT scans are a type of advanced 3D imaging used increasingly in dentistry, offering detailed views of the mouth, skull, and jaw. Unlike traditional dental X-rays, CBCT® scans clearly show bone structure, density, tissues, and nerves, while exposing patients to less radiation and taking under 30 seconds to complete.
These scans are especially useful for planning dental implants and oral surgeries, allowing for faster, more precise procedures. Dentists use CBCT scans to assess jawbone quality, locate nerves, detect disease, determine implant placement, and plan surgeries in detail.
The scan uses a Cone Beam Imaging System to take hundreds of images while the patient sits comfortably. It produces a 3D model of the face and jaw, helping reduce treatment time, cost, and improving surgical outcomes.
